Newlyweds Glaiza De Castro and David Rainey's love story is unexpected in the most romantic way possible.
In an episode of 'Bright Side,' the Kapuso actress shared how their romance began, saying, “2018, nagpunta ako no'n sa Siargao para sa aking birthday celebration. Tapos one night, may tumutugtog na isang kanta na sobrang favorite ko. Hinanap ko kung sino 'yung nagpapatugtog, apparently siya pala 'yon. Nag-usap na kami.”
When the Irish national had to return to his homeland, he and Glaiza continued their communication. Despite the physical distance, David pursued the Kapuso actress by sending love letters and gift packages.
The two made their relationship official in September 2018 and got engaged in December 2020 when Glaiza took a vacation in David's hometown in Ireland.
“Who would've thought I'd say yes in freezing cold weather…it just felt right,” Glaiza captioned her post, along with a photo of her hand showing her engagement ring.
In an exclusive feature of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on February 13, the Sparkle artist revealed that she and her partner have been married since October 2021.

The former 'Nagbabagang Luha' star met David's family in February 2019 during the latter and his twin's 30th birthday celebration in England.
In June 2019, Glaiza flew to London to take a course in music production. During her three-month stay, she was able to spend quality time with her significant other, David, while studying music.
The pair celebrated their first anniversary as a couple in September 2019.
In February 2020, David visited Glaiza in the Philippines. The following month, the blue-eyed fellow got stranded in Baler, Aurora due to the COVID-19 quarantine and temporarily stayed in Glaiza's home in the province.
The lovely couple got engaged in December 2020 when Glaiza went on a vacation in David's hometown in Ireland. The Kapuso actress posted a photo of her hand showing the beautiful engagement ring.

The Sparkle artist co-starred with her then-fiancé in the music video of her track, 'Bank Holiday,' to mark their engagement.

In an episode of 'Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho' on February 13, 2022, Glaiza revealed that she and David have been married since October 2021.
